Australian pricing has been released for the Jaguar F-Pace SVR with the thing available to order now from $140,020+ORC.

THE JAGUAR F-PACE SVR is available to order now from $140,020+ORC. Tweaked by Jaguar’s skunkworks, Special Vehicle Operations (SVO) the F-Pace SVR runs a 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol engine making 404kW and 680Nm, which is enough thrust to go from 0-100km/h in 4.3 seconds with a top speed of 283km/h.

Key changes to the exterior are larger air intakes at the front and side fender vents that “lower pressure in the wheel arches, reduce lift and provide additional cooling”. Blistered guards and lower body mouldings give the thing a hunkered down look.

The F-Pace SVR gets an exclusive SVR vented bonnet to help release hot air from the engine bay. At the rear, there’s a spoiler and new bumper housing the quad tailpipes. The bumper incorporates side strakes that aid aerodynamic performance by smoothing airflow away from the rear of the vehicle.

The tweaked chassis has front and rear springs that are 30% and 10% stiffer respectively and incorporate an anti-roll bar specification that contributes to a 5% reduction in body roll.

Jaguar Australia said, customers can register their interest at www.jaguar.com.au and select ‘Keep me informed’ to find out more information or click the ‘I Want One’ button to be contacted by their nearest retailer.

  1. Ok, how then does the Jaguar F type with same engine cost another $100K. This is at least reasonable value by Euro rip-off standards in Australia, I was expecting a $200K price tag.
