All-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 teased
The all-new 2019 Toyota RAV4 has been teased ahead of its public debt at the New York Motor Show.
TOYOTA IS PREPARING to renew its fight in one of the most competitive new car segments, not just in Australia, but the world, with its all-new, fifth-generation RAV4. Toyota released a teaser image of the new RAV4 at the same time that Subaru teased a rear tail-light image of the all-new, fifth-generation Forester.
The RAV4 was last renewed back in 2013 and while Toyota is saying nothing about the new RAV4 we can assume it’ll sit on the brand’s modular platform, known as Toyota New Global Platform which we’ve sampled under the Prius, C-HR and Camry and which will underpin the new Corolla which was revealed recently at the Geneva Motor Show.
Toyota hasn’t said anything about the new RAV4 but we can expect it to get the new engines debuting in the new Corolla and, who knows, maybe even Apple and Android connectivity…
Toyota Australia has reported the new RAV4 will arrive in Australia sometime in 2019 which will put it behind the arrival of the new Forester due here by the end of this year. The RAV4 has trailed the big sellers in the segment, the CX-5 and the Hyundai Tucson.
