Renault Megane RS 280 to sell here from $45,000+ORC with Cup Chassis option

The Megane RS 280 will arrive in Australia towards the end of this year priced from $45,000+ORC with a Cup Chassis Pack available in the last quarter.

RENAULT AUSTRALIA has announced the Megane RS 280 will be available in the third-quarter of this year and sell from $45,000+ORC and will be standard with a Sport chassis. Renault has said it will also offer the Cup Chassis Pack which includes manual transmission, the Cup chassis, Torsen limited slip differential, red Brembo brake callipers and bi-material aluminium/cast iron brake discs – it’ll cost $1490 and be available from the final quarter of this year.

Andrew Moore, Managing Director Renault Australia, said: “Following the international launch of the all-new Megane RS we received strong feedback from media, customers and dealers that they would like to have the option of a Cup chassis on the entry model Megane RS 280.  We have listened to this feedback and gone back to the factory to introduce a Cup chassis option.

“Renault Sport and in particular the Megane R.S. has a strong history in Australia.  In fact Australia was the third highest selling country in the world for the previous generation Megane R.S. behind France and Germany.

“We’re thrilled that the factory have supported us in responding to our customers and making this option available to our customers.”
