Lexus has revealed its NX SUV will include a number of technical innovations for the Lexus brand when it launches here in October.

SHOWN OVERNIGHT AT THE Good Design Australia awards, the Lexus NX SUV will offer an Australian vehicle first with its wireless charging tray (on selected models only) for smart phones and other portable devices. It will also offer touch sensitive lighting, power seat adjustments for back seat passengers, and a hybrid drivetrain. Available on selected models and aimed to improve safety, will be an all-new Lexus Panoramic View Monitor which offers an uninterrupted view of the vehicle surrounds when called upon and features four high definition cameras.

In keeping with Lexus’ entire Australian range, reverse camera will be standard across all models, while blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert will be offered across selected NX 300h models. Lexus Australia has said it will release more details about the NX SUV range closer to its October launch date.
