Bentley has released a teaser video of the SUV it plans to introduce in 2016.

Following mixed reactions to the unveiling of the EXP-9 concept at the Geneva motor show in 2012, Bentley has yet to announce the name for the production version of its SUV.

The SUV promises to look very much like a traditional Bentley with big gleaming headlights and a bold grille, although the video hints that the boxy rear-end of the concept vehicle will be dropped for a roofline that dives towards a more curvaceous rear. While many have criticised Bentley for wanting to introduce an SUV it could well be a bold financial move. Remember, Porsche was criticised for its introduction of the Cayenne but it ultimately saved the company.
