The Jaguar E-Pace has been teased ahead of its 13 July reveal and is being tipped to become the brands biggest seller.

THE JAGUAR E-PACE WILL go head to head with BMW’s X1 and Audi Q3 when it launches later this year; yes, it’s a smaller SUV rather than a petrol-electric version of the F-Pace (there’s an i-Pace hybrid SUV coming in 2018). It will get its global reveal on 13 July.

The introduction of the F-Pace helped to boost Jaguar sales around the world by 83% in 2016/17 and the E-Pace is expected to drive those sales even harder as the E-Pace will sit in the hotly contested medium SUV segment.

Ian Callum, Director of Design, Jaguar, said: “The combination of sports car looks with Jaguar performance will ensure that the E-Pace stands out. Every Jaguar is designed to excite the senses, and we think E-Pace will do just that, albeit with its own individual character.”

The Jaguar E-Pace features sports car-derived AWD technology and an all-Ingenium line-up of petrol and diesel engines. There’s also talk the E-Pace could cop the brand’s first petrol-electric hybrid drivetrain that could also see service in Evoque and Discovery Sport.
