The 2015 Subaru BRZ tS by Subaru Tecnica International has been revealed today, but the bad news it’s only for Japan. Still worth a gawp, though.
THE SUBARU BRZ tS goes on-sale in Japan today but sadly it won’t be coming to Australia. The BRZ tS is about as close to a BRZ STi as you’ll get with, according to the brand, “exclusive tuning such as adoptions of STI’s unique flexible parts embodies highly responsive handling performance. Driving performance has also been enhanced by adoptions of “brembo” ventilated disc brakes, 18-inch aluminum wheels and a front under spoiler”.
Limited to just 300 units in Japan, the BRZ tS gets Recaro bucket seats, STI logo-bearing speedo and will be available in Sunrise Yellow (only 200 units maximum), WR Blue Pearl, Crystal White Pearl and Crystal Black Silica.
Beyond that, the engine has been left alone, but then there’s nothing wrong with the performance and anything that can sharpen the ride and handling of the already sharp BRZ will be welcome. Shame it won’t be coming to Australia.
