The Toyota RND Concept has been teased ahead of its 26 January, a vehicle it says will make a “valuable contribution to the world we live in”. Ok.

TOYOTA HAS TEASED a glimpse of its RND Concept which it will reveal in full next week (January 26), and while it’s not saying much about it, it has said it’s “ready for fast-track development that should see it changing the face of motoring within weeks”.

According to Toyota, the teaser image hints at the “radical shift in direction for Toyota,” but we can’t work out whether it’s showing the inside or outside of the car. While the brand admits the image shows a concept car, it’s said it will reveal the vehicle in its production form next week.

Indeed, “manufacturing and product supply have been secured and on-the-road pricing has been fixed at a level that will make the RND Concept accessible to the widest possible market”. And Toyota is even making bold claims that it believes the RND Concept will “have the potential to transform the look of every vehicle on the road”.

President of Toyota in the UK, Matt Harrison, said: “Full details of the RND Concept will be announced next week, but ahead of the official unveiling I can say that this is something we are proud of and that will make a valuable contribution to the world we live in.”

Guess we’ll have to wait and see next week just how ‘influential’ this new car will be.
