The all-new Subaru Impreza in both sedan and five-door hatchback form will be revealed in full at the New York Motor Show later this month.

SUBARU HAS TEASED its all-new Subaru Impreza which will debut at the New York Motor Show in both sedan and five-door hatchback form. The all-new Imprezas have been teased via a series of concepts at various motor shows last year, with the Subaru XV Concept being shown at the recent Geneva Motor Show.

Subaru has said virtually nothing in the release accompanying the image, but we already know that this new Impreza will sit on the Japanese car maker’s all-new modular platform which will underpin its next-generation range of vehicles, including hybrid, electric and fully automated vehicles. In a statement earlier this week, Subaru said the new platform is the brand’s largest performance step in its history, promising improvements in torsional rigidity, safety and a lower centre of gravity.

In its very short statement, Subaru said: “The Impreza has been completely redesigned inside and out, from upgraded in-car technology and a more spacious interior to its sleek new body design. The updated model will include signature Subaru features such as Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive and award-winning safety technology”.
