Subaru has released a teaser video suggesting a more power, better handling Levorg STI is on its way… to Japan, at least.

LAST YEAR AT THE Tokyo Auto Salon Subaru unveiled its Levorg Concept S which featured go-faster bits and pieces from the STI parts bin. Now, the Japanese car maker has released a video suggesting a faster, better handling Levorg STI is on its way.

Expected to be released later this year, it’s unknown whether the Levorg STI will make it to markets outside of Japan. Although, with the Levorg launching locally later this year, there’s a very slight chance it could come to Australia, but we’re not holding our breath.

The Levorg STI is likey to thump out more power than a standard Levorg, but it’s unknown what engine it’ll run and just how much power it’ll make. But, what is known, is that the Levorg STI will get a tougher looking bodykit, a lower ride height courtesy of STI suspension, STI-specific alloys, and bigger brakes. On the inside, it’s likely the STI badge will be stuck onto a whole host of things like a new steering wheel and gear shifter.

The below videos are in Japanese… If any of our readers speak Japanese let us know what’s said:
