Subaru Impreza Sedan concept revealed

The Subaru Impreza Sedan concept has been revealed at the LA Motor Show following the reveal of the Impreza Hatch at the Tokyo Motor Show last month.

THE SUBARU IMPREZA SEDAN concept has been revealed at the LA Motor Show offering a strong glimpse of the new Impreza sedan. Announced back in May 2014, the Impreza will be the first of Subaru’s next-generation “strategic vehicles”.

In a short statement, Subaru said “Positioned as an entry model in the Subaru line-up, Impreza sedan concept’s compact body features a blend of bold expressions of Subaru’s dynamic and solid design elements and a quality feel beyond its class”.

While the Impreza Sedan concept clearly hints at the look of the new Impreza, Subaru says it also offers teasers of future product.

The concept features a new colour, Ruby Red Metallic, “expressing a sporty and energetic character. Glossy black accents add to the concept’s quality feel”.

“The low and wide stance adds to the sporty impression, underlined by the classic Subaru hexagonal grille and hawk-eye headlights. The rear combination lights share the same motif as the headlights,” Subaru said.

So what odds the final car will look this good? I hope the STi and WRX cop big upgrades from current offerings.
