The refreshed 2019 Hyundai Kona has been detailed with news of a new entry-level Go variant joining the line-up, priced from $23,500+ORC.

THE REFRESHED 2019 Hyundai Kona has been detailed with some minor feature tweaks only and the addition of a new entry-level Go variant. Hyundai has also made the SmartSense active safety suite a cost-optional extra on Go and Active ($1500).

The 2019 Kona Go, like the rest of the new Kona line-up, can be had with either a 110kW 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive, or a 130kW 1.6 turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine, paired with a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) and all-wheel drive.

Kona Active, Elite and Highlander now get an 8-inch infotainment system with native satellite navigation system and Krell 8-speaker premium audio system as standard. Kona Highlander adds a standard powered glass sunroof.
