The refreshed 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander will go on-sale this month priced from $28,750+ORC.

THE REFRESHED 2017 Mitsubishi Outlander goes on-sale this month in both two-wheel drive and all-wheel drive variants with the top-spec Exceed coming with Multi Around Monitor, Blind Spot Warning, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Lane Change Assist fitted standard.

The mid-spec Outlander LS gets a Safety Pack which lists from $32,000+ORC, and gets Forward Collision Mitigation, Lane Departure Warning, adaptive cruise control and automatic high beam feature. These features are included on Exceed variants as standard. Entry level LS 2WD models with CVT gain seven seats. All-wheel drive models boast an electric park brake.

Beyond improved safety, all 2017 variants will get Mitsubishi’s latest smartphone integration via Mitsubishi’s Smartphone Link Display Audio (SDA) and digital radio.

Outlander’s ride and handling has also been tweaked, the Japanese car maker said, via new shock absorber valves to improve body control when cornering and a new “rear toe link bushes provide improved lateral rigidity”. Mitsubishi said new “lower friction front struts with new damping contribute to improved steering linearity, while rear shocks have been tweaked to boost stability and ride comfort”.
