Subaru’s fourth generation WRX will make its world premiere next week at the Los Angeles Auto Show.

The North American specification WRX will star alongside a new Subaru concept car, which will make its world premiere at the show. Both will be unveiled early on the morning of Thursday 21 November (Practical Motoring will let you know all as it’s revealed).

While the teaser image doesn’t give too much away, the bonnet scoop is clearly lower and wider than that on the current WRX … it’s likely the production WRX won’t look much like the concept revealed at the recent New York Motor Show.

fan site CluBRZ has leaked an image of the 2015 WRX

Subaru is playing technical details close to its chest, but CluBRZ, a Subaru fan site in Japan, on Sunday posted an image of what appears to be a fully uncovered Subaru WRX (MY15). You can see the resemblance to the teaser image above, but it’s not exactly slinky. That said, neither was the first lot of WRXs that hit the street … remember the bumble-bee-chewing-bulldog look of the original WRX? This new one looks like a new version of that one. We like it.
