2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV price, specs and release date
The updated 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV is on-sale now boasting an extra-cost option active safety pack and some tweaked exterior and interior features.
The updated 2019 Mitsubishi Outlander PHEV has caught up with the rest of the Outlander range and now offers a new-look grille and front bumper, new alloy wheels and a tweaked rear bumper. There’s also a new Exceed variant on offer which gets a 360 degree Multi Around Monitor, Lane Change Assist (LCA) and Rear Cross Traffic Alert (RCTA). The entry-level ES replaces the old LS and offers a cost-optional active safety pack for $1500. It adds: Forward Collision Mitigation (FCM), Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW).
Other new features on the Outlander PHEV are one-touch up and down windows from the driver’s side, illuminated power window switches, new seat cushion design, soft-touch centre console cover and rear air vents.
Mitsubishi says it has improved on-road dynamics via a quick-ration steering set-up as well as new larger diameter front struts and rear shock absorbers. This should improve the bodyroll which has been one of the major criticisms of the Outlander PHEV since launch.
The 2019 Outlander PHEV range is available at Mitsubishi dealers with Recommended Retail Pricing of $45,990+ORC for the ES or $47,490+ORC with optional ADAS safety pack and Exceed for $53,990+ORC.
