Boasting Honey-I-shrunk-the-Mazda6 looks, the Sedan is a more elegant looking vehicle than the hatchback and lacks some of that vehicle’s compromises where rear vision is concerned. The Sedan also offers a bigger boot than the hatchback, up from 295 litres to 444 litres (up from 408 litres on the old Mazda3 Sedan).

Beyond this, the Mazda3 Sedan follows the hatchback in terms of specs and engine offerings. There are seven body colour options for the sedan, including Soul Red Crystal Metallic, Machine Grey Metallic, Snowflake White Pearl Mica, Sonic Silver Metallic, Deep Crystal Blue Mica, Jet Black Mica and Titanium Flash Mica.

In terms of safety, the Mazda3 Sedan is well equipped with Smart Brake Support (SBS), Lane-keep Assist System (LAS), Lane Departure Warning (LDW), Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) and Forward Obstruction Warning (FOW) as standard across the range.
