2016 Volkswagen Caddy Alltrack revealed

The 2016 Volkswagen Caddy Alltrack has been revealed ahead of its official debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next week.

THE 2016 VOLKSWAGEN Caddy Alltrack has been revealed ahead of the Frankfurt Motor Show next week. The successor to the Cross Caddy, called the Caddy Alltrack is available in both passenger vehicle and commercial vehicle-esque panel van set-up

“The latest version of the urban delivery van and family MPV is clearly distinct from the other Caddy models with its exclusive 17-inch ‘Quito’ alloy wheels, Mojave Beige metallic paintwork and optional 4MOTION all-wheel drive technology,” a short statement from Volkswagen read.

The Caddy Alltrack gets specific matt silver scuff plates carrying the Alltrack logo, the wheel arches are black with black side sills and the lower edges of the bumpers. Volkswagen claims it enhances the “off-road look” of the Caddy Alltrack.

“Other visual highlights of the Caddy’s off-road brothers include some typical Alltrack features like the three chrome fins in a painted radiator grille, the silver exterior mirror housings from the passenger car version, H7 twin halogen front lights, fog lights, smoked tail light clusters, Alltrack logos on the front grille and at the rear, and silver roof rails.”

More details will be revealed at the Frankfurt Motor Show and we’ve asked the question about whether the Caddy Alltrack will come to Australia and will update this article when we hear back. As you would imagine, the Caddy Alltrack will be cost-optionally available with 4MOTION all-wheel drive.
