A video allegedly showing the 2016 Toyota LandCruiser has been leaked online suggesting key styling changes.

VERY LITTLE IS KNOWN about the 2016 Toyota LandCruiser, but a video has been thrown up onto YouTube by Arabic automotive website Almuraba which shows off a number of key features, including a new front grille and head-lights. The 54-second clip seems to show the key areas of revision, which appear to be the wheels, front and rear bumpers, as well as door handles.

The video is in Arabic, so if there’s anyone out there who can translate it, it would be much appreciated it, but it seems to have been compiled from a series of internal Toyota documents and presentations.

UPDATE: Thanks to a Practical Motoring reader we now have a translation, and it goes: “The first leaked images of the 2016 Toyota Land Cruiser’s catalog, which got upgrades and a new face lift, which also shows us that the car obtained radical changes on the spots highlighted in the green colour
“Japanese Toyota company has not yet published pictures of it’s vehicle while still testing it in Japan and it seems that it wants to sell all of the cars of the current form and then start publishing photos and videos”.

UPDATE: The Internet is running wild with rumours about the authenticity of the above image, which seems to have been scanned from a sales brochure about the new Toyota LandCruiser. Having seen the full image, and not just the bonnet (see above) it would appear the bonnet has been photoshopped – the alloy wheels too appear to be fake. That said, the sales brochure is possibly authentic and what seems to have happened is that based on the information, someone has attempted to design what they think the front-end of the LC200 will look like.

The look is, however, quite a departure from current Toyota design, so, we’ll just have to keep our ears to the ground to see what else emerges over the next few weeks and months.
