An image, supposedly official, showing the 2016 Toyota HiLux has been leaked on a Facebook page in Thailand.

THE 2016 TOYOTA HiLux has been spied testing in Thailand and was even photographed in the factory earlier this year, but this is the first time an ‘official’ image has surfaced online at the Hilux Revo Facebook page. The image purportedly shows the 2016 Toyota HiLux and, based on the factory spy shots from earlier in the year (see below) it looks accurate.

There aren’t too many details about the new HiLux, but the image clearly shows a top-spec model with its chrome side mirrors, fog lights and projector headlights. It’s likely the new HiLux will stick with its current crop of petrol and diesel engines, albeit tweaked for performance and fuel efficiency, there are also rumours of a hybrid variant, but that’s totally unconfirmed…
