2015 Jaguar XE to sell from $60k in Australia

Local pricing and specifications for the 2015 Jaguar XE have been announced with the latest leaping cat to list from $60,400 (+ORC) – it’ll go on-sale in September.

THE ALL-NEW Jaguar XE will go on-sale in Australia on 1 September with prices starting at $60,400 (+ORC) and extending all the way to $104,000 (+ORC) for the range-topping XE V6 S variant. Powered by the supercharged 3.0-litre V6 petrol engine from the acclaimed Jaguar F-TYPE, the XE S is capable of 0-100kph in just 5.1 seconds.

“The XE’s driving behaviour fully matches the promise of its seductive looks, and the emotional appeal is supported by state of-the-art approaches to efficiency, from aerodynamics to the advanced Ingenium engine family, said Kevin Stride, Vehicle Line Director, Jaguar XE.

The XE debuts Jaguar’s new modular vehicle architecture, which is another way of saying it’s based off a platform that will be used to spin-off other models going forward. XE will be available in four trim levels: Prestige, Portfolio, R-Sport and S.
