Japanese tuning company, Wald, specialises in adding design flourishes to Toyota product and has released its new bodykit for the LandCruiser 200 Series.

THE REFRESHED Toyota LandCruiser 200 Series wouldn’t be your first choice when it comes to a ‘pimped’ SUV… But that hasn’t stopped Japanese tuning company, Wald, from adding some bits and pieces to the new LandCruiser 200 Series.

The company hasn’t said much about its bodykit. Actually, it’s said nothing except release these two images. But you can clearly see the front bumper has been reworked and extended, which while it looks pretty good will ruin the LandCruiser’s approach angle. The wheel arches have been pumped and the wheels embiggened, too.

The rear bumper has been reworked and there’s now a small spoiler below the rear windscreen. Why? Who knows. Again, the rear bumper extension, like that at the front, will likely mess with this vehicle’s off-road angles, but then this isn’t being styled for the off-road set.

We’re expecting Wald to announce interior, engine and exhaust details in the coming days. Until then, let us know what you think.
