Volkswagen is offering R-Line enhancements on all models, and has announced a new R-Line model, the beefed-up 155kW Tiguan R-Line from $44,990 (+ORC).

VOLKSWAGEN IS extending its R-Line models to include Golf Wagon and Tiguan, the line-up already includes Golf, Beetle and Touareg. Unlike, the recently release Jeep Blackhawk range which was cosmetic only and, more or less, standard across the range, R-Line models do get performance improvements and specific cosmetic enhancement for each model.

For instance, for the Golf, Golf Wagon, Beetle and Tiguan, an R-Line package can be had as an extra-cost option, while the Tiguan and Touareg are also available as standalone R-Line models, offering tweaked engines for improved performance (a 155kW TSI engine in the Tiguan, and a 250kW V8 TDI in the Touareg).
