Rezvani Motors teases 2016 BEAST supercar
Rezvani Motors has teased a picture of its 2016 BEAST supercar which will be revealed in full in May.
THE TEASER appears to show the rear three-quarter panel of the 2016 BEAST supercar. How much it departs from its pre-production concept we’ll have to wait and see.
Based on an Ariel Atom, the body and interior of the Rezvani Motors BEAST have been designed by Samir Sadikhov who styled the Aston Martin DBC and the Ferrari Xerzi concepts. Providing oomph is either a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder or a 2.4-litre supercharged four-cylinder mid-mounted offering 235kW and 373kW, respectively. Below is a sketch showing key features of the BEAST.
And while you wouldn’t know by looking at it that the BEAST was based off an Atom, Rezvani has made sure that despite the custom-built, carbon-fibre body has kept fat to a minimum, weighing around 100kg more than an Ariel Atom 3.5R (667-703kg depending on the model of BEAST).
The MSRP for the standard model begins at US$115,000 ($122,941) for the BEAST 300, and US$135,000 ($144,328) for the BEAST 500. A full day of professional race track driving class is also available to BEAST 500 owners at no extra cost.
Depending on options, each BEAST takes between three and five months to build.
