The new Renault Megane Sedan and Wagon was launched recently in Australia and now Renault has announced driveway pricing.

RENAULT AUSTRALIA said it wants to celebrate the arrival of the new-generation Megane and so is offering driveaway pricing across the line-up. “The whole Megane family is now here and to celebrate, we have announced drive-away pricing across each and every model,” said Justin Hocevar, Renault Australia’s Managing Director.

“The Megane nameplate has a long history in Australia and many fans. There is now a Megane to suit just about every lifestyle.”

The arrival of the new-generation Megane line-up here also saw Renault fit it with its latest-generation safety features, including the Advanced Driver Assist System (ADAS) which comprises of Advanced Emergency Braking (Inter-urban), Lane Departure Waring and Automatic High/Low Beam headlights. This is available as a factory-fitted option on the Life and Zen variants of the Megane Hatch, as well as the Zen variants of the Wagon and Sedan for only $700.

The Megane Hatch GT-Line and GT receive ADAS as standard with the addition of Distance Warning and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC). These variants also receive the 8.7 inch portrait orientation capacitive touchscreen for the R-LINK 2 multimedia system.

“The high levels of specification that include a number of active safety features, ensure the Megane range is very well equipped to take the sales fight directly to its European rivals in the small segment.

“This new drive-away pricing combined with Renault’s excellent reassurance package of a five year, unlimited kilometre warranty and our Capped Price Servicing programme demonstrates our commitment to ensuring the very best value for money for our customers,” Hocevar said.
