Renault Captur now with 110kW/250Nm engine and spec upgrades
The Renault Captur range is now available with a 1.3-litre four-cylinder making 110kW and 250Nm of torque.
Renault has rolled out its 1.3-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine across the Captur range. This engine makes 110kW and 250Nm of torque from 1600rpm and replaces the 1.2L turbo engine previously available.
Renault Australia boss, Andrew Moore announced the engine change, saying: “An engine that makes driving Captur a real pleasure, Renault Australia are pleased to be expanding its availability across the Captur automatic range. This punchy engine is worth getting behind the wheel and taking Captur for a spin” says Andrew Moore, Managing Director Renault Australia.
This 1.3L turbocharged engine had previously been available only on the limited-edition S-Edition Captur released here at the end of last year. Beyond the engine, there have been spec enhancements with the Captur Zen variant now getting Apple and Android connectivity. The Captur Zen (auto) is priced from $27,490 drive away.
