Refreshed Renault Megane Coupe-Cabriolet revealed

Renault Australia has today announced details of a refreshed Megane Coupe-Cabriolet which gets a new-look snout and some interior flourishes.

THE MEGANE COUPE-CABRIOLET range consists of the Dynamique CVT and the GT-Line, both are mechanically unchanged but feature the “New Brand Identity frontal styling,” says Renault. The two models mechanically the same, running a 2.0-litre naturally–aspirated four-cylinder engine mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT), driving the front wheels.

The range starts with the Dynamique CVT, priced from $38,490 (+ORC), while the GT-Line model lists from $43,990 (+ORC). These two new models now fall into line with the recently refreshed Megane range. Inside, the Dynamic continues to offer a chic and comfortable appearance, with high quality cloth seat covers, while the GT-Line adds red highlights and heated, leather seats.

Standard features in both variants include, a power-operated all-glass hardtop, automatic headlights and rain-sensing wipers, 17-inch ‘Plenum’ alloy wheels (for the Dynamique), dual-zone climate control, LED daytime running lamps, rear park sensors, cruise control and speed limiter, front and rear fog lights and Bluetooth connectivity. The GT-Line adds, 17-inch ‘Celsium’ alloy wheels, along with R-link Integrated satellite navigation with touch screen control, an Arkamys stereo with 3D sound, as well as keyless entry and starting.

“The Mégane Coupe-Cabriolet offers exceptional value, style and features for its very affordable starting price, and is now even more attractive thanks to its adoption of the New Brand Identity, courtesy of Renault’s Senior Vice-president of Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker,” says Justin Hocevar, Managing Director of Renault Australia.

The new Renault Mégane Coupé-Cabriolet is on-sale now.
