The refreshed 2015 Honda Civic Hatch has been revealed locally with key design and specification changes, pricing starts from $22,150 (+ORC).

THE 2015 HONDA Civic Hatch has come in for a raft of design and specification changes, including Honda’s  Agile Handling Assist System. 

“The Civic nameplate has such a long history around the world,” said Honda Australia Director, Stephen Collins. “It has been an Australian favourite for over 40 years. This year, it receives enhanced styling and more specification, ensuring it will remain a favourite.”

As mentioned, one of the key changes has been the addition of new safety technology to the Civic Hatch, called Agile Handling Assist System (AHAS). The “system works with Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) and can help support the vehicle’s stability and performance during cornering by lightly applying the brakes during cornering”.

On the outside, the Civic Hatch gets new front and rear bumpers, front grille and rear spoiler. The range also receives as “standard guided tube daytime running lights and guided tube tail lights”. The VTi-L and VTi-LN grades will also receive front and rear parking sensors.

Inside, the most notable change is the addition of Honda’s Display Audio System enabling Bluetooth connectivity, audio streaming, and display of the reversing camera. The VTi-LN model also features Display Audio with built-in satellite navigation.  It also receives a new passenger side dash garnish, sporty seat fabric (VTi-S and VTi-L grades), new stitching and chrome accents on the door panels.

VTi-S auto – $24,450 (+ORC)

VTi-L auto – $26,990 (+ORC)

VTi-LN auto – $31,090 (+ORC)
