Raminator becomes world’s fastest monster truck

Ram Trucks-sponsored monster truck, Raminator, has set a new Guinness World Record (159.486km/h) to become the world’s fastest monster truck.

MONSTER TRUCK, Raminator, sponsored by Ram Trucks in the US (hence the name) has become the world’s fastest monster truck and set a new Guinness World Record for the ‘Fastest Speed for a Monster Truck’ of 99.10mph (159.486km/h). The previous world record was 96.8mph (155.78km/h).

“Taking on the challenge of breaking a world record has been an experience we will never forget,” said Hall Brothers Racing President and Crew Chief Tim Hall. “With the support of Ram and Mopar, we continue to add to our achievements and are honored to now be a Guinness World Records holder.”

Raminator was driven by Mark Hall who owns and operates Hall Brothers Racing, the team that runs both Raminator, Ramunition and the Mopar-sponsored monster truck Mopar Muscle. More than just being the fastest monster truck on earth, Ramunition has been named the Monster Truck Racing Association ‘Truck of the Year a record eight times, while Mark Hall has been named driver of the year nine time and crew chief, Tim Hall, named mechanic of the year five times.

Laminator becomes world's fastest monster truck

The world record run took place at Circuit of The Americas in Austin, Texas, a 3.4-mile long race track. During the year, the Ram monster trucks compete in races and freestyle events and tour America, making appearances at dealerships and crushing cars. Yeeha!
