McLaren 720S Ride-On revealed…Good things, small packages

Toddlers around the world are fist-pumping with the news the McLaren 720S Ride-On is now available.

The McLaren 720S Ride-On has been revealed. Aimed at three-to-six-year-olds we’re sure there’ll be dad’s trying to get behind the wheel. The 720S Ride-On is the brand’s second ride-on children’s electric car with the P1 Ride-On launching in 2016.

Priced from $570, the McLaren 720S Ride-On is available in a range of colours, including Azores Orange, Belize Blue, Lantana Purple, Onyx Black, Mauvine Blue, Silica White, or Saros Grey. The exclusive launch colour, Papaya Spark, will only be available via official McLaren dealers.

McLaren said, “Functioning dihedral doors combined with exposed carbon-style elements and signature 720S styling cues immediately identifies the model with the actual car”.

The 720S Ride-On has an electric motor controlled by a throttle pedal with engine sounds and the ‘car’ is turned on either via a key or remote control for parental control. There’s a working brake light and a battery level indicator on the digital dashboard display.

“When not whizzing around the nursery, the youngest of all McLaren drivers can take time out to listen to music or watch a short movie by plugging a USB or SD card into the sockets provided. A selection of popular songs for six-year-olds is pre-loaded into the system,” McLaren said.
