Kia has teased images of its turbocharged High-Performance K900 sedan ahead of the SEMA show in November

IN A SHORT STATEMENT Kia seems to be appealing to performance enthusiasts with its modified K900 which went on-sale in America in March, but isn’t available here in Australia; its twin-under-the-skin, Hyundai Genesis goes on-sale here in November.

According to Kia: “Exceptional performance and personalized style are prerequisites for the machine that carries a racing driver or team owner to and from the track on a daily basis, and the High-Performance K900 delivers both. Starting with a custom, one-off body kit with carbon fiber inserts, custom-blended gray paint, blacked-out chrome trim and massive 21-inch gloss-black wheels, the High-Performance K900 offers a subtly menacing appearance, which hints at the power underneath”.

As to what that power is we’ve got no idea, although the large front-mounted intercooler would suggest the K900’s 5.0L V8 has been turbocharged. As its way, we’re pretty sure Kia will drip feed more info leading up to SEMA in November.
