Renowned tuner, John Pangilinan has turned a Hyundai Tucson into an ‘Adventuremobile’ for Hyundai’s SEMA display in early November.

HYUNDAI HAS been drip-feeding its SEMA show line up for the last week or so and today has revealed its latest creation, the Hyundai Tucson ‘Adventuremobile’ by Southern Californian tuner John Pangilinan. This car, and the others in the line-up, will be revealed in full on November 3.

The most obvious addition to the Tucson is a Treeline Tamarack roof-top tent and Goal Zero solar panels. The exterior has been beefed up with the addition of an Aries bull bar and side steps, Rigid Industries LED lights, and the vehicle has been finished in a BASF army green paint scheme by Strasse Sport. A custom 1.5-inch suspension lift provides improved ground clearance, and Toyo Open Country A/T II tyres with RAYS Gram Lights 57DR wheels round out the looks.

AEM provided an upgraded intake and charge pipe kit, and the engine breathes more freely through a Magnaflow exhaust system. How much power this has added hasn’t been revealed.

“Designed with the weekend adventurer in mind, the Tucson was the perfect platform for an ‘Adventuremobile,’” said John Pangilinan. “The build blends performance with the excitement of the great outdoors, without sacrificing daily usability. The vehicle promotes exploration, making it ideal for the daily commute, weekend excursions, and the occasional road trip.”
