The Ford Everest Titanium is now available with a more off-road friendly 18-inch wheel and tweaked suspension and stability control to suit, or buyers can stick with the standard-fit 20-inch alloys.

BUYERS CAN NOW option their Ford Everest Titanium with 18-inch alloys or stick with the standard-fit 20-inch alloys. The idea is to improve the off-road friendliness of the top-spec Everest, with Ford saying: “The No Cost Option increases the diversity within the locally designed and engineered Everest range, offering the highest level of equipment with the added benefit of an 18-inch diameter alloy wheel more suited to tackling harsh terrain. It includes a matching full-size alloy spare wheel”.

“The Everest has been awarded for its off-road capability, and many of our customers have and do take full advantage of this,” said Ford Australia President and CEO, Graeme Whickman.

“We’ve responded to this call, and we’re pleased to offer greater choice for Everest customers.”

But there’s more to it than just being able to choose different wheels. Ford said, any Everest Titanium going out on 18s will feature bespoke “tyre and suspension changes, as well as Driver Assistance Technology re-calibrations”. The price for the Titanium remains at $74,701+ORC.
