TOYOTA’S PRADO was last ‘all-new’ back in 2009, but it looks as if those waiting for an all-new Prado will have to wait a little longer with a facelift (the second since 2009), rather than the new model many had hoped for, due out later this year. Once again, a set of exterior and interior images of the refreshed Prado have been leaked online by Instagrammer Hamad1two3 and they look to have been taken from a Japanese magazine.

As we speculated at the end of May when similar images were leaked by Hammad1two3 the images are likely to be com-gens produced by a Japanese publication. That’s not suggest they’re not the real deal as Japanese car magazines have an uncanny knack for nailing new models in their com-gens.

The facelifted Prado will get a new-look front-end which has clearly taken styling cues from the LandCruiser 200 Series. And the same goes for the rear end of the thing, but you can clearly see that very little has changed in the bodywork. The interior looks more premium than the current offering, but that wouldn’t have been a tough ask.

While we’ve got these images, Toyota is keeping quiet about the images, but there’s speculation of a November release. Stay tuned.
