Citroen has revealed its China-only C3-XR SUV which will go on-sale at the end of the year as the French carmarker hopes to build on its sales success in China.
CITROEN HAS REVEALED its C3-XR SUV to be sold exclusively in China from December this year (2014). With more than 470 dealers and sales up by 19% year-on-year, Citroen says it’s hoping the C3-XR will grow sales even more. The Citroen C3-XR will be produced at Citroen’s Wuhan factory in China.
According to Citroen, “Its immediately identifiable design projects robustness, elegance and dynamism … comfort is of the highest standard, thanks to benchmark levels of interior space, a roomy and welcoming driving position, and ride comfort worthy of the best saloons,” a statement read. No interior pictures have been released. Under the bonnet will be a 1.6-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission.
