The 2019 Hyundai i30 N Fastback has been teased testing at the Nurburgring with the Korean car maker saying the tiny tot performance fastback will arrive Down Under early in 2019.

HYUNDAI HAS revealed images of the i30 N Fastback testing at the Nordschleife circuit at the Nürburgring in Germany. The i30 N Fastback will be the third vehicle in the range to get the N treatment with the Veloster N the second – it will launch in Australia later this year while the i30 N Fastback is expected early in 2019.

In a short statement accompanying the images, Hyundai said, “The track and the public roads around the region [nearby the Nurburgring]  are among those used to evaluate performance and durability, helping to prepare what will be the third N model, after the five-door i30 N and the Veloster N”.

The i30 N Fastback will likely get the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder as its hatchback sibling boasting 224kW and 353Nm of torque.
