The 2016 Bentley Bentayga has been spied testing near the Arctic Circle with pictures of Bentley’s first SUV surfacing online overnight.
AUTO SITE, WORLD CAR FANS has published spy photos of the 2016 Bentley Bentayga testing near the Arctic Circle. Bentley claims is oddly-named Bentayga SUV will redefine the luxury SUV segment, although we’re sure Range Rover would have something to say about that. It also claims it will be the most powerful.
The Bentayga will be built off the same platform as the current (second-generation) Audi Q7 and it’s expected to be powered by a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 and perhaps a 6.0-litre W12. We do know, however, that a plug-in hybrid variant will be available from 2017.
Updated: Here’s a video of the Bentley Bentayga testing at the Nurburgring… Hmmm:
So, what do you think? Bentley is obviously chasing money by launching the Bentayga, but will it provide the bottom-line boost the Cayenne did for Porsche?
