2015 Volvo Polestar Racing V8 Supercar revealed
Volvo Polestar Racing has revealed its 2015 V8 Supercar via a short video, showing driver Scott McLaughlin hooning around a carpark.
VOLVO POLESTAR Racing has announced its naming rights sponsor, Wilson Security, in spectacular fashion releasing a video showing Scott McLaughlin thrashing his V8 Supercar around a carpark. In 2014 Volvo Polestar Racing scored four championship victories, 10 podium finishes and 10 pole positions, finishing sixth in the teams’ championship and fifth in the drivers’ championship. On top of that, Kiwi driver Scott McLaughlin was awarded the Barry Sheene Medal for the sport’s best and fairest competitor.
Volvo Car Australia Marketing Communications Director Oliver Peagam said Volvo will continue to build on the success of its debut V8 Supercars season during 2015.
“The 2014 V8 Supercars season exceeded all of our expectations, and Scott McLaughlin’s performances were simply outstanding. It’s great to see people making a positive link between the Volvo brand and performance.
“We look forward to building on this association during the 2015 championship season, and developing more entertaining social media campaigns like On Patrol.”
