Suzuki has revealed official images of the new Vitara which makes its return after a 25-year absence, Australian sales expected to begin in 2015.

AFTER A 25-YEAR absence the Suzuki Vitara is back and in compact SUV form. Suzuki has released official images of the new Vitara which will receive its public debut at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in October.

Details are a bit sketchy at the moment, but we do know the new Vitara will be the production version of the iV-4 concept shown at last year’s Frankfurt Motor Show (2013). It will get the same ALLGRIP intelligent all-wheel drive system used in the S-Cross and that a range of petrol and diesel engines will be available.

Like it’s done with other vehicles in its range, Suzuki will offer customers the option to personalise their car with various colour and trim customisation options. Further details of these, as well as final specifications will be available closer to public launch on October 2.
