Lexus has announced local pricing and specifications for its NX 300h SUV, with prices starting from $55,000 (+ORC) when it goes on-sale in October.

LEXUS HAS ANNOUNCED its NX 300h will arrive in Australia with all-speed active cruise control, wireless phone charger, reversing camera, satellite navigation and digital radio as standard fitment. The two-wheel drive NX300h Luxury starts the range with pricing from $55,000 (+ORC), while the all-wheel drive variant lists from $59,500 (+ORC). Both models get a lengthy list of standard features, including 18-inch alloys, rain-sensing wipers, electric park brake, 10-speaker audio with Bluetooth and audio streaming, and much more.

Next up the list is the NX 300h F Sport which lists from $66,000 (+ORC). Lexus says the F Sport gains: Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS), 360-degree panoramic monitor, blind spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, rain-sensing wipers, all-LED headlamps, wireless phone charger, 10-speaker audio, two USB inputs, 10-way adjustable power front seats with driver memory, heated and cooled front seats, F Sport 18-inch alloys, unique exterior and interior styling, leather-accented interior and front and rear performance dampers. The NX Sports Luxury tops the list at $75,000 (+ORC).

In addition, there are two options packs available for the NX 300h range: Enhancement Pack 1 includes moon roof (a $2500 addition to NX 300h Luxury 2WD and AWD) and the 14-speaker Mark Levinson Audio system (which is offered together with the moonroof for NX 300h F Sport for $4000); and Enhancement Pack 2 which includes Pre-Collision Safety system (PCS), all-speed active cruise control, Lane Departure Warning+, widescreen colour heads-up display (HUD), auto high beam, smart card key, moon roof and Mark Levinson audio (it lists for $7000) – The NX 300h Sports Luxury receives the second enhancement pack as standard features.

According to Lexus Australia chief executive Sean Hanley the NX 300h embodies all of Lexus’ latest thinking around design, technology and driving dynamics. “The NX is not only great to look at it’s also great to drive. With its high level of standard specification and innovation, the NX is set to make its mark in the luxury SUV segment,” Mr Hanley said.

“To-date, pre-order interest has been extremely strong and we believe that with its specification, size and pricing the NX is set to become one of our best-selling models locally.”
