The 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia range has been tweaked with new features across the range, increased prices, and a simplified product line-up of just four variants – the diesel Giulia Super has been dropped.
The model-year 2019 Alfa Romeo Giulia has had features and active safety added across its four-variant line-up. The four models are Giulia, Super, Veloce and the range-topping Quadrifoglio. The Giulia Super which was the only variant in the range to be offered with a diesel engine is now petrol only, for an all-petrol line-up.
Added value ranges from $1000 to $4000 with prices across the range rising from $1000 for the Giulia to cancel out its additional value-add through to a $2000 hike for the top-spec Giulia QV.
Starting with the Giulia, there’s now an additional $1000 worth of extras, including Apple and Android connectivity, blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert. The Giulia Super adds 35W Bi Xenon headlights with Adaptive Front Lighting System and Auto High Beam and heated rear seats. Alfa clams an additional $2500 in added value.
The Giulia Veloce adds $2000 in extra value with the addition of 8-Way powered front seats and heated rear seats. The Quadrifoglio also gets heated rear seats and now with room for three across the back, and a leather and Alcantara steering wheel with carbon fibre insert – $4000 in added value.
