Pricing for the Mini John Cooper Works Countryman has been revealed, with the high-riding go-faster Mini listing from $56,900+ORC.
THE MINI JOHN COOPER WORKS COUNTRYMAN is the fourth model in the JCW line-up and the newest Mini. It’s only the second Mini JCW product to offer a 170kW engine and ALL4 all-wheel drive.
In a statement, MINI Australia General Manager, Tony Sesto said: “The all-new MINI Countryman range has been very well received, both in Australia and internationally.
“Now with the flagship JCW version’s fantastic combination of performance and usability, we expect even more excitement to be generated across the range.”
Under the bulging bonnet of the JCW Countryman is a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine making 170kW and 350Nm of torque. Buyers can choose from either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic with no cost difference.
Mini is keen to promote its one-off payment plan to cover up to five years or 80,000km of scheduled services. “MINI Service Inclusive offers two packages, Basic and Plus. Basic provides scheduled servicing cover, while Plus combines scheduled servicing and selected maintenance items. MINI Service Inclusive takes care of scheduled servicing costs for five years or 80,000km, whichever comes first. MINI Service Inclusive plan provides a long-term solution enabling cover to be extended and transferred to future vehicle owners before expiry”.
