Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace confirmed for Detroit Motor Show reveal
Volkswagen has released design drawings of its longer, seven-seat Tiguan Allspace which will be revealed at the Detroit Motor Show in January.
VOLKSWAGEN HAS finally released design drawings of its Skoda Kodiaq twin-under-the-skin (although some journalists have driven prototypes in Europe), which will be called the Tiguan Allspace in Europe, but be known as Tiguan in other markets. There was no mention of Australia as a destination for the Allspace in the short release overnight.
The new VW Allspace has a wheelbase that’s been stretched by 11cm compared with a standard Tiguan and a body that’s around 22cm longer. It gets seven-seats and will be launched in the US, Europe and China successively.
The Tiguan Allspace will get the same engines as the rest of the Tiguan line-up, and will follow the same styling inside and out with just some extra sheet metal in the body.
