Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Australia has announced the costmetic-enhancement only Amarok Dark Label will arrive Down Under in 2015 from $56,990 (+ORC).

JOINING OTHER BRANDS announcing ‘dark’ or ‘black’ label editions, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles says the limited-edition (only 300 will arrive in Australia), “factory developed Amarok Dark Label has now been confirmed for Australia with deliveries commencing in early 2015, bringing with it a raft of stylish and practical upgrades for Australian customers”.

Based on Highline models, either the TDI400 Selectable 4MOTION manual, or TDI420 Permanent 4MOTION automatic, which already include such features as a multi-function display with satellite navigation, and front and rear park distance control, the Amarok Dark label adds additional features as standard. It gets: Bi-Xenon headlamps with LED daytime driving lamps, matt black sports bar and side steps, darkened tail lamps, black rear bumper, door mirror housings and door handles, and 18-inch ‘Durban’ alloy wheels in black. Inside, the Amarok Dark Label offers an Alcantara trim with carbon fibre-look bolster finish, front heated seats and tailored floor mats.

The Amarok Dark Label is available for order now: Amarok TDI400 Dark Label (man) $56,990 (+ORC); Amarok TDI420 Dark Label (auto) $59,990 (+ORC).
