Toyota Camry gets reversing camera and upgraded audio
Toyota has announced an upgrade to the audio systems and made a reversing camera standard across its Toyota Camry range.
THE ANNOUNCEMENT comes just weeks after the Camry celebrated its 21st consecutive year as Australia’s best-selling car, and will see audio upgrade and reversing camera added as standard, at no extra cost, to its four petrol and two hybrid Camry models.
From now on, Toyota Camry will be equipped with an audio system that offers touch, drag and flick operations similar to that of a smartphone. Four of the six variants have a 6.1-inch screen that also displays the image from the reversing camera while the range-topping petrol Atara SL and hybrid HL have seven-inch screens with satellite navigation and the addition of Toyota Link connected mobility. The audio in these grades also includes voice recognition in addition to Bluetooth phone connection and audio streaming.
Camry is also covered by Toyota Service Advantage with the cost of services capped at $130 for each of up to five services in the first four years or 75,000km.
