Pricing announced for 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wagon… From $57,490+ORC
The 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wagon will arrive here permanently in January 2018 priced from $57,490+ORC, but there’s a limited-run arriving this year.
VOLKSWAGEN HAS FINALISED pricing for the 2018 Golf 7.5 range with the announcement, today, of prices for its Golf R Wagon and Golf R Wolfsburg Edition in both hatch and wagon variants. Volkswagen has said it will bring in a limited-run of 300 units of the above variants (in late August) ahead of the Golf R Wagon becoming permanent fixtures in the line-up from January next year.
Volkswagen Australia’s General Manager of Marketing and Product Ben Wilks says: “In hatch form the Golf R is by some distance the best-selling and -equipped car of its type. In Wagon form, it is that rarest of beasts – a fun, fast and fully functional family car.”
The Golf R hatchback comes with either 6-speed manual ($52,990+ORC) or 7-speed DSG ($55,490+ORC). The Golf R Wagon arrives in January at $57,490+ORC with 7-speed DSG standard:
