The Mercedes-Benz G500 4×4 has been teased ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show next month (March).

LOOKING A LITTLE comical, Mercedes-Benz has teased an image of its new G500 4×4 scrambling up a gravel slope ahead of its official debut at the Geneva Motor Show.  Essentially just a four-wheeled version of the Mercedes-AMG G63 six-wheeler, this G500 gets, or so it looks, increased ground clearance, big 21-inch wheels wrapped in 325/55 rubber.

The G500 4×4 gets a suspension lift and some cosmetic bits and bobs. Under the bonnet is a V8 thumping out 310kW (which is up on the standard G500’s 285kW).

At this stage, the G500 4×4 is being described as a show car for the Geneva Motor Show only. We’ll know more in the coming weeks.
