Images revealing a Mazda CX-5 facelift have been leaked online – it will make its debut at the LA Motor Show.

ONLY DAYS AFTER a French automotive forum leaked images of the facelifted Mazda6 ahead of its official reveal at the LA Motor Show, the same site has revealed brochure images showing a Mazda CX-5 facelift. Like the Mazda6 it will get its global debut at the LA Motor Show.

Details are thin on the ground about the Mazda CX-5 facelift but it seems to follow in the footsteps of the Mazda6 we saw last week. So, it will likely stick with its current range of engines and transmissions, with cosmetic improvements only. The front grille takes inspiration from the Mazda3 and Mazda2, and the image suggests it’ll get LED head- and tail-lights and new design alloy wheels. It’s likely that the interior will also seem some changes, and you can refer back to the leaked images of the Mazda6 for an idea.

The Mazda CX-5 and Mazda6 facelifts will get their debut at the LA Motor Show on 19 November.
