Details for the refreshed 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe and CLA Shooting Brake have been released with prices starting at $52,000+ORC.

THE REFRESHED 2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA Coupe and Shooting Brake are now on-sale in Australia. Following the previous generation’s model line-up in Australia, the CLA Coupe and CLA Shooting Brake includes for variants for each model: the CLA 200, CLA 220 d, CLA 250 Sport 4MATIC, and the Mercedes-AMG CLA 45 4MATIC.

The CLA 200 Coupé and Shooting Brake both run the same 1.6-litre four-cylinder turbocharged engine which produces 115kW of power and 250Nm of torque. The CLA 250 gets a 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder that makes 160kW and 350Nm of torque. While the AMG variant offers 280kW and 475Nm of torque. The turbo-diesel CLA 250 d offers 130kW and 350Nm of torque, which is an increase of 30kW and 50Nm over the outgoing model.

Both models will get, as standard, LED fixed headlights, DAB+ Digital Radio, DYNAMIC SELECT driving modes, a diamond radiator grille and ambient lighting. The entry level Shooting Brake will also get KEYLESS-GO comfort package as standard, including HANDS-FREE ACCESS, KEYLESS-GO and an EASY-PACK tailgate.

Over the standard CLA variants, the 250 Sport models add 18-inch AMG Wheels, AMG RIDE CONTROL sports suspension, a Panoramic glass sunroof, Sports Seats in Black RED CUT Leather, Fully Electric and Heated Front Seats as well as Adaptive Highbeam Assist.

The AMG CLA 45 variants offer 19-inch AMG Wheels, AMG Driver’s Package, AMG performance exhaust, AMG high-performance braking system, AMG Performance Seats, COMAND Online Navigation and a Harmon Kardon Logic 7 surround sound system as standard.

As standard all models get nine airbags, Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, PRE-SAFE, Parking Pilot, ATTENTION ASSIST and an Active Bonnet. The AMG CLA 45 variants arrive with Distance Pilot DISTRONIC and Lane Keeping Assist.
