Isuzu UK has launched a new advertising campaign this morning showing off the limited-edition Isuzu D-Max Blade’s zombie dodging ability.

ISUZU UK HAS kicked off its biggest-ever online advertising campaign, depicting a special-edition Isuzu D-Max Blade as the hero in a zombie-infested post-apocalyptic city. We’ll come back to the Ad in a minute.

The D-Max Blade is for the UK only and gets 18-inch, six-spoke ‘Shadow’ alloy wheels, contrasting black load-bed bars and privacy glass, while on the inside it gets automatic climate control and leather seats, as well as a 6.1-inch touchscreen navigation system – complete with integrated rear safety camera – and enhanced surround-sound audio.

Haydn Davies, Marketing Director at Isuzu UK, commented: “The stylish special edition Isuzu D-Max Blade is a highly distinctive range-topper for our hugely capable pick-up range. It spearheads our strategy to reach a much wider audience than we have done historically, and this online commercial provides an excellent platform to reach new audiences across the UK. As well as looking every part the superhero pick-up, the ad shows that an Isuzu D-Max Blade can still deliver even when faced with the trickiest of situations.”

Okay, the Ad, now, here at Practical Motoring we love our zombie films and while the zombies do a great job of being, well, zombies, the rest of the Ad is just a little bit rubbish. Let me know what you think… see you in the comments.
