Kahn Design has taken a Land Rover Defender and given it the Flying Huntsman treatment to come up with the Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up.

SET TO BE RELEASED at The Great British Land Rover Show this weekend, the coach-built Flying Huntsman 105 Pick Up gets its name from the additional 15inches added to the wheelbase, stretching the standard Defender 90’s wheelbase. Other modifications made to the two-door Defender 90 Pick Up, include lengthening the bonnet by 400mm and increasing the width by 150mm.

Front and rear wings have been beefed up with vents and bolt apertures; there are body colour, extended wheel arches, and the front bumper has been replaced, while bonnet and side vents get stainless steel mesh, side steps, X-Lander front grille and 8-inch x 18-inch Defend 1945 Retro Wheels in Matt Black.

Power comes from a 2.2-litre diesel engine. Drive is to all four wheels via a button-operated six-speed automatic transmission. Brake and suspension upgrades complete the engineering overhaul.

Inside, the centre glove box, passenger dashboard, grab handles, door panel inserts, instrument binnacle, roof headlining and sun visors are all upholstered to complement the front two GTB Sports Seats.

Clients also have the option to design their own Pick Up model with the featured upgrades in a variety of colours, finishes, trims, and more.
